Rosie and James’ wedding at Ash Barton Estate in Devon was a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Set in the North Devon countryside, Ash Barton Estate is one of the most unique wedding venues in the South West, offering a relaxed country house setting with barns, gardens and beautiful countryside views. With sunny weather all day, the couple and their guests enjoyed a perfect celebration in this beautiful countryside setting, making it a wedding to remember.
The day began with a fun and relaxed start as guests enjoyed a fish and chips food truck, setting a joyful tone for the day ahead. The atmosphere was full of laughter and excitement, a perfect prelude to the ceremony and for guests to introduce themselves.
The couple then exchanged their vows in a candlelit ceremony, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere. The space was beautifully decorated with florals from The Rose Shed, framing their heartfelt promises perfectly.
After the ceremony, the reception was brimming with energy and celebration. Guests enjoyed ice cream and a delicious curry main course from Latitudes Catering while mingling in the stunning surroundings. Every detail, from the decor to the joyful atmosphere, contributed to a day that was as personal as it was unforgettable.
One of the most spectacular moments came during Rosie and James’ first dance, with an insane amount of confetti that captured the excitement and joy of the celebration. Laughter, and dancing carried on into the evening, leaving lasting memories for everyone.
The couple shared about their experience:
"Ryan was the most fantastic photographer for our wedding day. He communicated before the day, answered all our questions and on the day itself was a joy to have there! He's so friendly, and made us and our guests feel at ease. He provided our sneak preview photos SO quickly, and we got the full album back really speedily too. Would recommend him to anyone!"
It was an absolute privilege to capture Rosie and James’ day, alongside my talented second photographer, Alex Evans. Every detail, from the candlelit ceremony to the confetti-filled first dance, was a joy to document. Special thanks to the amazing vendors who helped bring this day to life: Liza, Toni Gogola, The Rose Shed, Ash Barton Estate, and Latitudes Catering.
