So how does this all work then?
As mentioned above I like to keep things as simple as possible and that starts at the very beginning of this journey. To book me in as your photographer, there are 3 simple steps to follow.
- Choose the package that suits you the best.
- Sign and accept the contract.
- Pay a £400 retainer fee to confirm the booking.
Once these steps are completed you're all booked in. At this stage it is up to you how much or how little we stay in touch in the lead up to your wedding. I am available for my couples at all stages of the planning from the smallest decisions to the biggest.

FAQ

Can you tell me about your style of photography?
I work in a reportage style of photography, capturing all the moments as they unfold on the day. Theres nothing better to me than capturing the true happiness of you and your guests, and all the big smiles I get out of everyone whilst sneaking around. My style is very unique and I capture every wedding differently for my clients regardless of how many times I’ve visited a venue.
How many photographs do we get?
Depending on how long I spend with you on the day, the content and structure of the day and the opportunities I am given, you will receive between 350-700 photographs fully edited in your USB box. This is just a rough guideline and variety and content will vary accordingly*
Will it be yourself photographing our wedding ?
Yes it will be me. I love being with the couple on their big day and I feel honoured to be there with you and all of your guests. I only use Associate photographers in case of emergencies.
Do you go through the original photographs and edit them?
I love this part. My passion before photography was graphic design and I started learning how to use editing software from an early age. If you are self conscious about a few things, there are a few tricks to remove things such as acne if you would like me to at an extra charge.
When will the photographs be ready?
I aim to get the photographs finished as early as possible without compromising on the finished standard. However most weddings are delivered by 4 weeks and in very busy seasons, it can be up to 12 weeks*.
Do you own business insurance?
Yes, I am fully insured with public liability insurance upto £5million and professional indemnity insurance, all of my camera equipment is fully insured also. Insurance can be seen on request.
Do we need to feed you?
It would be really appreciated if you could supply a meal when you are also eating so I can refuel ready for the evening but I fully appreciate wedding budgets, so even a sandwich would be enough for me.
How far are you willing to travel?
I am willing to travel as far as your venue takes me. Travel arrangements can be discussed when we chat beforehand. I can travel within the UK and internationally; please enquire to discuss details.
What equipment do you use?
I use several professional lenses and own 4 camera bodies with external flash equipment to capture your wedding day perfectly and beautifully. I carry 2 cameras with me on the day which saves time swapping lenses and not missing shots.
How many group photos do we need?
This is entirely up to you but I suggest prioritising 5 to 10. You’ll get the chance to write a list of the photographs you want on the day, which I will carry with me to tick off as we do them one by one. I try to do these photographs within half an hour/one hour of your day so everyone can relax for longer and not wait around for too long.
How do we meet up to chat if we live so far away from each other?
I am more than happy to talk on Teams or Zoom. If not we can always use the old fashioned way and talk on the phone. Please contact me for more information and to plan in a time suitable to you.
When and how will I need to pay?
To confirm your wedding date you will need to sign a digital contract (SAVE THE TREES!) as well as pay a £400 retainer, and then the outstanding payment is due one calender month before the wedding date. More information is available and will all be sent when at the stage of signing contracts.
What does 'Digital Only' refer too?
As well as the monetary incentive for yourselves, going 'Digital Only' reduces our carbon footprint by avoiding delivery and postal products. To do this the USB presentation box and welcome packs will not be provided as part of the package.

When do we book our Engagement Shoot?
To get the most out of an engagement shoot, my suggestion is to book it in for 9 months to a year before the wedding day. This will then allow you to use the photos for wedding websites, stationary, signing books, save the dates and so on.
