Cornwall has some of the most beautiful coastline in the UK, making it one of the most incredible places to ask that all-important question.

From dramatic cliffs and golden beaches to quiet hidden coves, there are endless possibilities for a memorable proposal.

A Relaxed Approach to Surprise Proposal


The best photographs are rarely the ones that are perfectly posed. They are the moments in between: the excitement after a proposal, the way you look at each other when nobody is watching, the laughter during a walk along the beach, and the little moments you never planned. My goal is to create photographs that don’t just show what happened; they remind you exactly how it felt.

Planning a proposal can feel exciting and a little nerve-wracking, especially when you want everything to be perfect. Before the day, we’ll chat through your plans, including the location, the best time for lighting, where you’ll walk, how I’ll stay hidden, what tow ear, and the perfect moment to capture.

My aim is to blend into the background so your partner has no idea what’s happening. Then, once the question has been asked, I’ll capture those first few moments afterwards; the reaction, the hugs, the laughter, and the emotions that make the memory so special. Those genuine reactions are often the photographs couples treasure the most, and then we'll spend some time shooting some photos in the surrounding area.
