Everything starts with a conversation. Whether you’re planning a secret proposal or looking for an engagement shoot location, I’ll learn about your story, your ideas, and what you want the experience to feel like. If you’re planning a proposal, we’ll carefully discuss the details so everything is planned without risking the surprise.

2. Plan your experience

Once your date is secured, we’ll finalise the details.

For proposals, this includes lots of planning:

• The perfect location
• The best time for light and atmosphere
• Where I’ll be positioned
• How the moment will unfold

For engagement shoots, we’ll choose a location that fits your story and create a plan that allows the photographs to feel personal to you.

3. Your story is captured

On the day, you can focus on the moment while I capture everything that makes it meaningful. From the anticipation before a proposal to the laughter and connection during an engagement shoot, the focus is on creating photographs that tell the story of this chapter in your lives.

4. Your photos are delivered

After your session, your photographs are carefully selected and edited before being delivered through a private online gallery.

You’ll receive a collection of images designed to be enjoyed, shared, and kept for years to come.

Cornwall is full of striking and characterful locations, each offering a different atmosphere for your proposal or engagement story. From dramatic cliffs and open sea views to quieter, more secluded spots, the setting becomes an important part of how your story is told.

Crantock

A wide north coast beach near Newquay, where the River Gannel meets the sea. It offers open sands, dunes, and a quieter, more secluded feel depending on the tide, making it ideal for relaxed, story-led sessions.

Holywell Bay

A wide, open beach with dunes and sweeping views, offering space and privacy away from busier areas.

Fistral Beach

One of the most iconic beaches near Newquay, known for its surf culture, long golden sands, and powerful Atlantic sunsets. It works well for couples wanting something energetic and recognisably Cornish.

Watergate Bay

St Agnes & Wheal Coates
