As a Bath Wedding Photographer; its not very often I get to travel to North Devon to photograph weddings such as this one, engagement shoots or any other shoots for that matter, so as soon as Ross contacted me about this little secret of his to propose to his girlfriend at Saunton Sands, I couldn’t resist the journey to capture my first proposal. I met up with Ross and Deanna at the entrance to the beach with their little girl for a family shoot, although thats what it was disguised as, and the rest of the evening went swimmingly with picture perfect surroundings and weather.
Between Ross and myself we planned the moment perfectly by text a few days before, waiting for the right frame with the sea behind them, the sun setting and then a little nod from myself to say this was the perfect moment and the rest is, well, history captured in photographs below.
