I can imagine that you might have a lot to ask about myself and the way this works so hopefully a number of your questions can be answered below. If you can’t find what you’re looking for then please contact me directly and I will be more than happy to help you.

Will it be yourself photographing our wedding?

Yes it will be me. I love being with the bride and groom on their big day and I feel very privileged to be there with you both.

Can you tell me about your style?

I like to work in a reportage style of photography, capturing all the moments as they unfold on the day. Theres nothing better to me than capturing the true happiness of you and your guests and all the big smiles I get out of everyone whilst sneaking around. My style is very unique and I capture every wedding differently for my clients so no-one gets the same album.

How many Photographs do we get?

Depending on how long I spend with you on the day, the content and structure of the day and the opportunities I am given, you will receive roughly 500-700 photographs fully edited in your USB box. This is just a rough guideline and variety and content will vary accordingly.

Do you go through the original photographs and edit them?

I love this part. My passion before photography was graphic design and I started learning how to use editing software from an early age. If you are self conscious about a few things, there are a few tricks to remove things such as acne if you would like me to at an extra charge.

When will the photographs be ready?

I aim to get the photographs finished as early as possible. For most weddings I intend to finish the edited album within 3 weeks and order your products within 6 weeks if you would like any, and then meet up within a week of delivery so aim for 8 weeks total but It can take upto 16 weeks during busy periods.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured with public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance, all of my camera equipment is fully insured also to avoid any issues leading upto, and on your wedding day.

How far are you willing to travel?

I am willing to travel as far as your venue takes me. Travel arrangements can be discussed when we meet up. I can travel within the UK and internationally; please enquire to discuss details.

What equipment do you use?

I am a member of the UK Canon Camera Club with fully professional equipment registered. I use several professional lenses and 2 camera bodies with external flash equipment to capture your wedding day perfectly and beautifully. 2 cameras allows for more options and photographs.

Do you take the couple away for some intimate shots?

This is my favourite part of the day! I love giving you the chance to break away from everything and take a deep breath before continuing your big day whilst getting some lovely photographs you will treasure forever. We will discuss this part of your day when we meet up and we will need roughly half an hour of your day to do these photographs.

How many group photos do we need?

This is entirely upto you but I suggest prioritising just 10. You’ll get the chance to write a list of the photographs you want on the day, which I will carry with me to tick off as we do them one by one. I try to do these photographs within half an hour of your day so everyone can relax for longer.

How do we meet up to chat if we live so far away from each other?

I am more than happy to talk on Skype.. If not we can always use the old fashioned way and talk on the phone, please contact me here for more information and to plan in a time suitable.

Do we receive the RAW files?

A lot of people ask for RAW files because they think it’s a higher quality file; the truth is that a RAW file is actually an unfinished product.  It’s not directly usable and it needs to be edited. When you hire a photographer to capture you’re day, you’re choosing them because you like how they capture the images and how the final product looks – we use the RAW files to create the finished product for you and that is what we sell: the finished product.

When and how will I need to pay?

To confirm your wedding date you will need to sign a digital contract (SAVE THE TREES!) AND pay a 30% deposit, and then the outstanding payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding date. More information is available and will all be sent when at the stage of signing contracts. Payments can be made in cash or in a bank transfer.

How do we proceed with a booking?

Please use my details on the contacts page and I will get back to you as soon as I’m available. I aim to respond to your message in 24 hours, but if I don't just pick up the phone and call me!

For anything I haven’t covered please don’t hesitate to contact me here and ask me for more details. You can contact me on my socials too using the links at the bottom of the page. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
