“Ryan was great to work with and was very communicative and easy-going. We loved how at ease we felt during the engagement shoot and on the wedding day. The photos look absolutely amazing and capture the day perfectly. I’m glad we were able to find someone who created a special vision and didn’t make us feel uncomfortable at all. The final products are beyond our expectations!”

It had been 3 years since I last captured a Brympton House wedding in Yeovil, so when I got that email from Amber and Dave asking me to head back last August I couldn’t wait to re-visit and step into the amazing house! Amber and Dave reside in Central London so it was difficult to meet up for a catch up so they opted for an engagement shoot too in a local park (which you can see here) which was a lot of fun and let us really get to know each other. Being in front of a camera is always something clients like to shy away from but they took it in their stride; laughed a lot and had a good time and it really shows in their engagement shoot and their wedding.

Brympton House is the picture perfect wedding venue with guests booking form all over the world, and its especially beautiful in the summer months with greenery, and flowers all around and plenty of daylight to play with. But to be a British wedding it did have to downpour for an hour or so, luckily on our journey over from the girls apartment in the morning, just to add that little extra worry and excitement. With a 3pm ceremony, their was plenty of downtime in the morning and the mood was good all day long with no rushing around, no reason to worry and with the help from the staff Kate who ran the day it ran super smooth, apart from when the music stopped on Ambers walk down the aisle which was hilarious for the best reasons, and I don’t think they would have wanted it any other way. keep an eye out for her running down the aisle.

Their wedding was a real magical mix of people from all over the world, with people travelling form as far as New Zealand to be there, it was a really pleasure to capture them all together as well as talking to quite a few of them and hearing their stories. Amber and Dave first met the first week when Amber moved over from the states and the rest is their history. Please correct me if Im wrong Dave but In your speech you mentioned 30000 air miles for all your gets to make it to your big day. Which is incredible, and incredible he added that up too although he is a mathematician in his day job!

With toasted marshmallows, a shit hot band, amazing food, smoke bombs, beautiful grounds and styling suitable for Pinterest; what more could you want! It was the picture perfect day and good fun capturing with fellow photographer Alex too. Enjoy this preview of their English wedding and feel free to share the love and share it on your socials too.
